San Francisco Bay Brand® Silversides are premium whole frozen fish designed for large freshwater and marine carnivores. Also known as spearing, Silversides are a natural prey item for predatory fish and provide a nutritious alternative to prepared foods.

Silversides are naturally rich in marine proteins and polyunsaturated fatty acids, including HUFAs. These important nutrients help maintain high energy levels and vigor while promoting proper growth and supporting natural coloration. SFBB Silversides are packed fresh at the time of harvest to help preserve their nutritional value.

Their whole-fish format encourages natural predatory feeding behavior and makes them particularly suitable for larger carnivorous species. They can be fed to both freshwater and saltwater predators, making them a versatile addition to a varied carnivore diet.

Recommended for freshwater species including Cichlids and Catfish, and saltwater species including Triggers, Puffers, Groupers, Eels, and Lionfish.

Instructions: Break or cut small portions and thaw in cup, then pour in aquarium. Feed often, but only what can be consumed in three minutes. Remove any uneaten food. Never overfeed. Keep frozen. Important Microwaving or thawing in hot water is not recommended, as this breaks down the nutrients contained in frozen fish food.
