Who can apply to the SFBB Ambassador Program?
Aquarium hobbyists, content creators, fish breeders, and fish room owners are welcome to apply. We’re looking for people who are passionate about fishkeeping, use quality aquarium products, and are interested in sharing authentic experiences with the aquarium community.
Do I need a certain number of followers?
No. While audience size may be considered, follower count isn’t the only thing we look at. We’re especially interested in creators who produce high-quality aquarium content, have an engaged community, and genuinely enjoy fishkeeping.
Do ambassadors receive free products?
Selected ambassadors may receive complimentary San Francisco Bay Brand products to use with their fish and feature in their content. Products and quantities may vary based on availability, aquarium type, and the ambassador’s needs.
How often will I need to post?
Posting expectations may vary depending on the collaboration. We’re looking for ambassadors who can consistently create authentic content featuring SFBB products. Specific content expectations will be discussed with selected ambassadors before participation begins.
Which social media platforms qualify?
We welcome creators on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other relevant platforms where aquarium and fishkeeping content is actively shared.
What kind of content is SFBB looking for?
We love authentic aquarium content—feeding videos, Reels, TikToks, product demonstrations, fish room tours, educational posts, before-and-after results, breeding content, and creative ways of showing how you use SFBB products.
Can breeders and fish room owners apply without a large social following?
Yes. Our Breeders & Fish Rooms program is designed for experienced breeders and dedicated fishkeepers. Social reach can be helpful, but practical experience, product feedback, feeding results, and involvement in the aquarium community are also valuable to SFBB.
Do I have to exclusively promote San Francisco Bay Brand?
No. Participation in the SFBB Ambassador Program does not automatically require exclusivity. However, ambassadors should genuinely use SFBB products and avoid misleading or conflicting promotional content when featuring the brand. Any specific campaign requirements will be communicated in advance.
Can international creators apply?
Yes, international creators are welcome to apply. However, product availability, shipping capabilities, and program participation may vary by country.
What happens after I apply?
Our team will review your application, content, aquarium experience, and overall fit with the program. If selected, we’ll contact you using the information provided in your application to discuss next steps, product selection, and collaboration expectations.
Is there a cost to join the SFBB Ambassador Program?
No. There is no fee to apply for or participate in the SFBB Ambassador Program. Selected participants may receive products or other program benefits based on the type of collaboration.
