San Francisco Bay Brand® Mysis Shrimp is a highly nutritious frozen single-ingredient food suitable for a wide variety of freshwater and marine aquarium fish. The small brackish-water mysis shrimp (Neomysis japonica) are naturally protein-rich and provide essential nutrients that help maintain high energy levels and vigor.

Mysis Shrimp are particularly valuable as a feeding stimulant for finicky fish and seahorses. SFBB notes that their feeding-stimulating properties are thought to be associated with naturally occurring amino acids. They are one of the frozen foods that seahorses readily accept, making them an excellent choice for difficult or selective feeders.

The product is all-natural, frozen fresh, and highly nutritious. Regular inclusion as part of a varied diet helps promote proper growth and support natural coloration. It can be fed to both freshwater and saltwater species, making it a versatile frozen food for community, marine, and nano aquariums.

Recommended for freshwater species including Tetras, Cichlids, Barbs, Angelfish, Mollies, and Swordtails, and saltwater species including Marine Angelfish, Seahorses, Butterflyfish, Clownfish, and Wrasses. Feed only what can be consumed within approximately three minutes. No thawing or rinsing is required.

Important
Microwaving or thawing in hot water is not recommended, as this breaks down the nutrients contained in frozen fish food.
