Seaweed Salad Green

San Francisco Bay Brand® Seaweed Salad™ Green is a natural and nutritious treat made from 100% dried macroalgae (Pyropia yezoensis). Designed for herbivorous and omnivorous aquarium fish, it provides a highly digestible source of plant-based nutrition without fillers or additives.

Seaweed Salad™ Green is naturally rich in protein, fiber, iodine, carotene, vitamins A, B and C1, calcium, and iron. Unlike terrestrial vegetables such as lettuce, marine and freshwater herbivorous fish can digest this natural seaweed more completely. It provides vegetable protein, amino acids, vitamins, and natural pigments that help promote proper growth and support natural coloration.

The seaweed can also help entice finicky eaters and works well as either a nutritional supplement or occasional treat. Simply attach an appropriately sized piece to a vegetable clip and allow fish to graze naturally. Any uneaten seaweed should be removed after 6–8 hours.

Instructions: Tear or cut off a piece of Sally's Seaweed Salad approximately 3 inches by 3 inches (for an average stocked 30 gallon aquarium) using a vegetable clip, place inside your aquarium in an area easily accessible for your fish. Your fish will graze at their leisure. Remove all uneaten seaweed after 6-8 hours.
