Mussel

San Francisco Bay Brand® Mussel is a highly nutritious frozen single-ingredient food formulated for saltwater carnivores and marine invertebrates. Mussels are naturally consumed by many marine species and are especially appealing to Puffers and Boxfish, making them an excellent addition to a varied marine aquarium diet.

Mussels provide high levels of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids, along with vitamins including Vitamin C and Vitamin B12 and a well-balanced range of minerals. Their relatively high cholesterol content also makes them particularly suitable as a food for marine invertebrates.

This all-natural frozen food helps promote healthy growth, natural coloration, high energy levels, and vigor. It is recommended as a secondary food and is highly palatable, helping encourage natural feeding behavior in carnivorous marine species.

Recommended for Boxfish, Puffers, Triggers, Groupers, Eels, Lionfish, Angelfish, Butterflyfish, Snappers, Squirrelfish, Wrasses, Tusks, Hawkfish, and other saltwater carnivores. Feed only what fish can consume within approximately three minutes. No thawing or rinsing is required.

Instructions: Feed often, but only what can be consumed in three minutes. Remove any uneaten food. Never overfeed. No thawing or rinsing required. Keep frozen. Important Microwaving or thawing in hot water is not recommended, as this breaks down the nutrients contained in frozen fish food.
