San Francisco Bay Brand® Freeze-Dried Krill is a highly nutritious natural food designed for large freshwater and marine carnivorous fish. With an average size of approximately 1–1.5 inches, whole krill provide a substantial, highly palatable food source for larger aquarium species.

Krill naturally contain high levels of marine-derived proteins and amino acids, some of which act as natural feeding stimulants. They are also rich in Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, including EPA and DHA, which account for approximately 20% of the total fatty acids.

One of the key benefits of krill is its naturally high level of astaxanthin, a carotenoid responsible for the bright coloration found in many fish and crustaceans. This makes Freeze-Dried Krill an excellent natural color-enhancing food while also providing essential nutrients that help maintain energy and overall wellness.

The freeze-dried format is all-natural, convenient, and easy to digest, helping fish produce less waste and keeping the aquarium cleaner. When fed as directed, it will not cloud aquarium water. Presoak before feeding and offer only what fish can consume within approximately three minutes.
