Squid

San Francisco Bay Brand® Squid is a highly nutritious frozen single-ingredient food designed for large saltwater carnivores and marine invertebrates. Squid is naturally rich in protein and is eagerly consumed by a wide variety of predatory marine fish, making it an excellent addition to a varied aquarium diet.

Squid provides all essential amino acids and contains a high level of the polyunsaturated fatty acid DHA, providing an excellent source of nutrition and energy. As part of a balanced feeding program, it helps promote proper growth and support natural coloration.

SFBB Squid is uncooked, thoroughly cleaned, washed, hand-cut, and rinsed before packaging. It is not chemically bleached with hydrogen peroxide or formaldehyde, so some natural skin coloration may remain on the squid pieces. The product is available as squid chunks in flat packs or chopped squid in convenient frozen cubes.

Recommended for Boxfish, Puffers, Triggers, Groupers, Eels, Lionfish, Angelfish, Butterflyfish, Snappers, Squirrelfish, Wrasses, Tusks, Hawkfish, marine invertebrates, and other saltwater carnivores.

Instructions:

Feed often, but only what can be consumed in three minutes. Remove any uneaten food. Never overfeed. No thawing or rinsing required. Keep frozen.

Flat Packs
Break or cut off a small portion and drop in aquarium or thaw in a cup, then pour in aquarium. Feed often, but only what can be consumed in three minutes. Remove any uneaten food. Never over feed. No thawing or rinsing required. Keep frozen.

Important
Microwaving or thawing in hot water is not recommended, as this breaks down the nutrients contained in frozen fish food.

The colors of the chunks are caused by the thin skin still being present.
