Mini Bloodworms

San Francisco Bay Brand® Mini-Bloodworms are small-sized frozen bloodworms (Chironomus plumosus) developed specifically for smaller freshwater fish. Their smaller size makes them easy to consume for species such as tetras, guppies, mollies, platies, barbs, and other community aquarium fish.

The bloodworms are collected and packaged daily to help retain their natural nutritional value. They are also purged and disinfected prior to packaging using SFBB's in-house process to provide a premium-quality frozen food.

Mini-Bloodworms provide essential nutrients that help maintain high energy levels and vigor while promoting proper growth and supporting natural coloration. The convenient 1.75 oz mini-cube format is particularly well suited for desktop and nano aquariums, larger fry, schooling fish in planted aquariums, and households with multiple Betta tanks.

Recommended for Tetras, Guppies, Mollies, Gouramis, Swordtails, Platies, Barbs, Rainbowfish, South and Central American Cichlids, aquatic amphibians, and other smaller freshwater species. Feed only what can be consumed within approximately three minutes. No thawing or rinsing is required.

Instructions: Feed often, but only what can be consumed in three minutes. Remove any uneaten food. Never overfeed. No thawing or rinsing required. Keep frozen. Important Microwaving or thawing in hot water is not recommended, as this breaks down the nutrients contained in frozen fish food.
